Quiche Lorraine with Edmond Fallot Grain Mustard

Ingredients

  • 1 (9 inch) pastry dough
  • Edmond Fallot Grain Mustard
  • 12 slices bacon, crisply fried and crumbled
  • 1 cup shredded swiss cheese
  • 1cup minced onion
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 cups whipping cream
  • 3teaspoon salt
  • 1teaspoon sugar
  • 1teaspoon cayenne pepper

  Directions

  1. Heat oven to 450°F.
  2. Sprinkle bacon, cheese and onion in pastry-lined pie pan.
  3. Whisk eggs slightly, Beat in remaining ingredients.
  4. Spread the Grain Mustard on pastry dough
  5. Pour mixture into pie pan.
  6. Bake for 15 minutes at 450°F.
  7. Reduce oven temperature to 300°F.
  8. Bake an additional 30 minutes.
  9. Quiche is done when knife inserted 1 inch from edge comes out clean.
  10. Important–let stand 10 minutes before cutting.
